Update..

Hello Again.

I am slowly working on the content of the site now, including the formatting and information.  I have done a big chunk of work on my portfolio and I’m thrilled to say it is completely up-to-date and will remain that way from now on in.  I’ll change the recommended pieces as I see fit and ensure everything I write, or at least everything I can find that I’ve written, will be archived here.  That is a nice feeling.

Next will be the ‘music diplomacy’ and ‘blog’ sections, as well as ‘projects’.  I’m hoping each category will eventually speak for itself, but I’ll need a few weeks to ensure it does that.  So do bear with me.  After all this, when I’m ready, I’ll make a big announcement, inviting everyone to see how nice this site is going to be.

Until then, it’s band recommendation time. The Acorn was last update and I’ll continue the alt.country train by offering a band soon to be signed to one of my favourite labels.  They are from Bath and called Kill It Kid.  Visit the MySpace for a taster.

Hello Again.

Welcome to my new website.  I want to thank Martin at Earz for setting it up for me.  This site has everything!  It will give me a voice that I’ve never had before, including separate news sections, a place for Kae Sun, my portfolio and my work in musical diplomacy.  I hope to update the front page every few days, as well as keep everything else properly updated to ensure this is the best way to get in touch with me.  So, as I slowly chip away at this site and its content, I’ll post podcasts and videos I think are worth watching, as well as any other fun time wasters I see fit.  So, once again, welcome to the new Shainhouse.com.

To celebrate, here’s a video of a new band I love.  They are called The Acorn and their album, Glory Hope Mountain is out on Oct 6 in the UK.  Go buy it.
